Winter finale season is here again, and once more our shows are leaving us squeeing and emotionally tangled in knots. 'Once Upon A Time' left us with Emma and Regina in an alternate universe (with Robin Hood!), the hooded figure of Emma's visions is supposedly Rumple and Belle's son, and Snow and Charming are stuck is a cycle of one awake-one asleep. Meanwhile, 'Agents of SHIELD' left us with Ghost Rider missing, Daisy is back with team Coulson, and May has been replaced with a Life Model Decoy. We're going to need this break to calm ourselves down.

#MarvelWithFriends Schedule

As we mentioned in this week's episode, we're planning on joining our brother podcast Traveling The Vortex in doing viewings of all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies between now and when The Avengers: Age of Ultron is released on May 1st, 2015.

As with Friday Night Who, we'll all jump on Twitter and press play at the designated start time and Tweet our thoughts, comments, and whatever else comes to mind. You are more than welcome to join in as little or as much as you like, there's no pressure, it's all in the name of fun and friendship.

As an added option, we've included where the first season of Agents of SHIELD falls into the MCU. We will NOT be doing any sort of Tweet along with AOS, but it does play into the story lines from Iron Man 3 forward (and season 2 is building up a major story line that will appear in one of the Phase 3 films.....SPOILERS!!!)

After being on an unscheduled hiatus for a week (the podcast was just "resting"), the Five(ish) Fangirls are back! And with a vengeance! We have not one, but TWO convention reports from Michelle and Chrissy from Fan Expo Canada and Salt Lake Comic Con, respectively. We have a bumper crop of news from Once Upon a Time, Agents of SHIELD, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Who (as well as some non-news regarding "Deep Breath" - eh, it was a slow news day in the UK in some respects). For our main topic, we discuss all things Sherlock Holmes - from the original stories penned by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and their historical significance, to more modern interpretations of the famous detective in BBC's Sherlock and CBS's Elementary.
